Today I want to share with you something I believe will set you free both spiritually and physically, to make you go for all that God wants for you. Forget the past, forget the things behind and let all the past failures and fears go and press on to the mark of the prize of the high calling in Christ. New opportunities to become all that God wants you to be are opened before you, so take advantage of them.
I don't want you to repeat your mistakes and failures, so to this end I intend to share with you principles that will enable you to TAKE THE LIMITS OFF GOD. In Matt. 19:26, the Bible says "with God nothing shall be impossible", with men it is impossible, but with God nothing shall be impossible. The point here is that it is with God, nothing shall be impossible. So for you to be able to achieve all you need to achieve in your life, you need to be with God and nothing shall be impossible to you, as long as that something is in line with God's Will.
The Bible also says in John 1:1-4, that God and His Word are one. That is to say that God is the same as His Word. Therefore to rephrase Matt. 19:26, it would read "WITH THE WORD nothing shall be impossible". This should change the way you view the Word. Your respect for the Word should grow, because with the Word nothing shall be impossible. This should open you up to a new life of achievements.
Ask yourself, what would you attempt both for God and yourself if you had the assurance that you can never fail? What are the potentials and abilities that would be unleashed? LET THEM BE RELEASED, because as long as you are with the Word / God, nothing shall be impossible.
We all know the above is true, because God cannot lie. So why don't we take giant strides in God and for God? The limitations, I believe come in through our attitude to God and His Word. If you read Mark 4:24-25, it declares that "the measure you mete or measure to the Word is the measure that will be measured back". The Amplified version says "the measure of thought and study you give to the truth you hear will be the measure of virtue and knowledge that comes back to you".
So, from the above we can clearly see that it is not God that determines the measure of power, revelation and virtue that we get out of HIS WORD, but US and our attitudes.
The Bible says in Rom. 10:17 "faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the WORD OF GOD". And in Mark 4 in the parable of the sower, you will notice that the sower kept on sowing the Word until he got 100 fold. This should be our attitude, always. Keep sowing the Word into your heart, keep measuring value, thought and study to God's Word, and virtue, understanding etc will be measured back to you.
Also worthy of note is the faith principle of believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth the Word of God. (Read Mark 11:23-24). Another principle is the principle of prayer, Phil.4:6-7, "be careful for nothing, in everything by prayer, with supplication and thanksgiving let your request be made known to God and the peace of God that passeth all understanding shall guard your heart in Christ Jesus". And if you read Rm. 16:20 you will discover that it is the God of peace that shall bruise satan under your feet.
The Lord Bless and keep you!
