The restoration of these offices was designed to bring the Body to a place of maturity and to the full stature of the man Christ Jesus. We are to take advantage of all the graces available in these gifts. Each of these offices has a way they activate their equivalent in each believer. We become what we feed on. The Body becomes more pastoral as we sit under the office of the pastor. The same can be said for all the gifts too. We enjoy the ability to see the invisible, hear the inaudible and do the impossible when we allow the office and ministry of the prophet. We are also to enjoy the manifestation of these gifts. The apostolic office grants us access to a higher dimension of wisdom and a pioneering grace in all our endeavors in life. The quality of our relationship with the people who carry these graces will determine the flow of these things into our lives. All these should be making deposits into our lives regularly.

Next set is the 1 Corinthian 12, charismatic gifts. They are supernatural equipments granted to every believer to be a blessing to others and to faithfully wage a good warfare in life.

The revelatory gifts are the Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom and Discerning of spirits. These are supernatural endowments to know the past, the future and accurately know the spirit in operation in any situation. These are essential in the Body today.

Utterance gifts are those who help us as we utter the mind of God in prophecy that is exhortation, encouragement and comfort or in tongues and interpretation of the spoken tongues.

The power gifts are for mighty demonstrations of God’s power called the gifts of faith, working of miracles and gifts of healings. These bring supernatural manifestations of God's power on people’s lives to cause healings and other mighty signs.

One of the keys to these gifts is the yielding of our tongues to the Holy Spirit in the speaking with other tongues. Our love for God that brings us to the place where we want to see His people blessed and healed usually prepares us to be used by God in any of these ways.

When these are coupled with our progressive growth in character, we are sure to be on our way to effectiveness. We serve others with the power of God for His glory.

The last set is the motive gifts as recorded in Romans 12. These reveal our tendencies after we get born again. The dealings of God in our lives bring about certain qualities in us.
